The Palmetto Ridge High School Orchestra & Choir Booster Club exists to provide our director and students with valuable resources to provide a rewarding, informative, and enriching experience. We connect the PRHS orchestra & choir with the greater community, fund visits by musical experts and instructors, and support efforts to allow our students to grow as musicians and people. Whether you’re a parent, a grandparent, an alumni, or someone else who believes in our mission, we welcome you to join us.

MISSION
The mission of the Palmetto Ridge Orchestra & Choir Boosters is to support the hard work and growth of our Orchestra & Choir students and their director by providing organizational and financial assistance through parental involvement. As a 501(c)3 organization, all contributions to the Booster Club are tax deductible.  


WHAT WE DO
Among other things, the Booster Club helps pay for expenses associated with things like:

  • New music and music storage

  • Concerts (including programs and other costs)

  • Intensive workshops by expert instructors, often from professional orchestras & choirs

  • Performance trips

  • Experiential trips

  • Competitions

  • All-State Hotel Fees Cost

  • Professional development for our director

SERVICE
In addition to supporting the program financially the Booster Club helps by:

  • Planning out Fundraisers (Spirit Nights, Candle Fundraisers, Sponsor-a-thon, etc.)

  • Concert Assistance (ticket sales, door monitors, photography, etc)

  • End-of-Year Banquet Planning

  • Field Trip Chaperoning

  • Student Socials Supervision

  • Grant Writing

  • Trip Planning

HOW TO JOIN
If your student is in the Palmetto Ridge High School Orchestra & Choir, you are a member of the booster club!  

Volunteer Information

All individuals interested in volunteering for the Palmetto Ridge Orchestra & Choir Program and Booster organization must submit a volunteer application before they can begin volunteering. The application can be found in the below forms. Once you have completed your application, please contact the PRHS Activities Office.
